Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering on, or using the ChequePot.com website and its cheque printing and management service (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered account holders, and paying subscribers. They govern your use of all features, content, and functionality available on chequepot.com.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

Account Registration

  • To access the full features of the Service, you must create a free account by providing your full name, email address, and country of residence.
  • You warrant that all information provided at registration and in your profile is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.
  • You must not register on behalf of another person without their explicit consent, or use false identity information of any kind.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with any other individual or entity.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at support@chequepot.com.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent account limitations, restrictions, or bans is prohibited.

Subscription Plans & Payments

  • Access to the Service's cheque-printing and management features requires a paid subscription. Current subscription plans and pricing are available on the Pricing page of our website. Prices are subject to change; changes will be reflected on the website and will not affect active subscriptions already paid for.
  • All prices are listed as net amounts. No discounts will be applied unless explicitly stated during a promotional period.
  • Available payment methods depend on your billing country. Subscribers in India pay via Cashfree (debit/credit cards, UPI, net banking and wallets); should Cashfree be temporarily down or out of service, Indian subscribers may instead pay by direct UPI / QR-code transfer and provide the transaction reference for manual verification. International subscribers pay via PayPal, or by direct bank transfer to our designated account — for bank transfers, you provide the transaction reference and we manually verify and activate your subscription after the funds are received.
  • All subscription transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. ChequePot does not store your card details. By completing a payment, you agree to the terms of the applicable payment processor.
  • Your subscription begins on the date of payment confirmation. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are accurate. ChequePot is not liable for failed transactions caused by incorrect payment information.
  • You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable to your subscription in your jurisdiction. Our prices are exclusive of any such taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Once a payment has been confirmed and processed, it is non-cancellable, except within the 7-day window described in our Refund Policy.

Permitted Use

  • You may use the Service to print and manage cheques for your own personal use or for the internal operations of the business or employer you represent.
  • You may export and download cheque data, records, and reports generated by the Service for your own records and internal accounting purposes.
  • Your use of the Service must at all times comply with applicable laws, including laws relating to financial instruments, cheque writing, and anti-fraud regulations in your jurisdiction.

Legal notice: ChequePot is a tool for legitimate cheque management. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any cheque produced using this Service accurately reflects a genuine, authorized financial transaction. • We do not maintain real-time or guaranteed backups of your data at all times. Any backups we hold may be 30–60 days old. We do not guarantee the availability of the most recent backup and can only restore the most recent backup that was successfully synchronized. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own copies of any data you consider critical.

Backup disclaimer: Do not rely on ChequePot as the sole record of your financial data. Export and retain your own copies of cheque records and transaction history regularly. For full details on how we handle your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability & Modifications

  • We strive to maintain reliable access to the Service, but we do not guarantee any specific level of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted performance. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control.
  • We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove any feature, functionality, or content of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue the Service or any part of it.
  • Where we intend to permanently discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and allow users to export their data before the discontinuation date.
  • ChequePot is not liable to you or any third party for any loss or inconvenience arising from any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Account Inactivity & Termination

Inactivity. If your account shows no activity for 6 (six) continuous months, we may permanently terminate the account and delete all associated data without prior notice. No data backup will be provided. We encourage active users to log in periodically to prevent unintended account deletion.

Termination by You. You may stop using the Service at any time. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at support@chequepot.com. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. No refund is due upon voluntary account termination except within the 7-day refund window described in the Refund Policy.

Termination by ChequePot. We reserve the right to suspend (temporarily or permanently) or terminate your account without notice if:

  • You violate any provision of these Terms.
  • We detect fraudulent, unauthorized, abusive, or spammy use of your account.
  • You engage in any activity that harms other users, the Service, or third parties.
  • You initiate a fraudulent or unjustified chargeback against a subscription payment.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. All data associated with the account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR SPECIFIC PRINTER, DEVICE, BROWSER, OR OPERATING SYSTEM. CHEQUEPOT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH EVERY PRINTER MODEL AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET. • ANY WARRANTY THAT CHEQUES PRINTED USING THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY SPECIFIC BANK OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to verify that printed cheques comply with the requirements of your bank before using them for financial transactions.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ChequePot's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to ChequePot in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall ChequePot be liable for any of the following, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Financial loss resulting from a printed cheque being incorrect, dishonoured, or rejected by a bank due to format, alignment, or data errors.
  • Any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
  • Any loss arising from reliance on the Service for time-sensitive financial transactions.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.

Refunds & Cancellations

Refund and cancellation terms are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The key points are:

  • A 7-day refund window applies from the date of subscription purchase.
  • Refunds are only available where a verifiable technical incompatibility prevents cheque printing.
  • Subscription payments are otherwise non-refundable and non-cancellable once processed.

In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Refund Policy on matters of refunds, the Refund Policy shall take precedence.

Geographic Restrictions

ChequePot is designed for use in India and international markets where paper cheques are in active use and follow formats supported by our platform.

The Service is not designed or optimized for use in the United States or Canada, where cheque and check printing systems differ significantly from those supported by this platform. Users from these regions may use the Service at their own risk, and ChequePot makes no representations or warranties regarding compatibility with US or Canadian bank cheque formats.

If you access the Service from outside India, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
  • Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or the use of the Service, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. By using the Service, you consent to this jurisdiction.
  • The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally before commencing formal legal proceedings. To initiate an informal resolution, contact us at support@chequepot.com.

Amendments

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes — those that substantially alter your rights or obligations — we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email or via an in-site notice before the revised Terms take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

The failure by ChequePot to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision in the future.
